Manch einer vermisst dann doch die alte Homepage, die schwarzeromantik.de – lang ists her. Wie versprochen stelle ich nun peu peu einige alte Gedichte ein; den Anfang macht eines der wenigen, die ich in englisch geschrieben habe – damals in Indien im Winter 2004.

Caleidoscope Heart

A beggar, a sailor
and a fisherman sail
through nightgloomy stars
through beauty and gale
they carry ten roses
each one is a part
of a wheel turning round
called caleidoscope heart

The first rose is blue
like the sky and the sea
the second is black
like a crow on a tree
the third rose is silver
like a star sparkling light
and the forth rose is red
like a fire at night
the fifth rose is green
like pepper and tea
the next one is orange
– a sunset by sea
the seventh is dusty
like the rocks and the roads
the eighth one is dying
like many lost hopes
the ninth rose is amber
like Heeras dark eyes
and the last one is coloured
like all indian lies

A beggar, a sailor
and a fisherman sail
through nightgloomy stars
through beauty and gale
they carry ten roses
each one is a part
of a wheel turning round
called caleidoscope heart
